Overview

Habicat respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how you can access, correct, delete, or withdraw authorization for your personal information.

We collect only information needed to keep the app running, provide account, sync, purchase, notification, widget, sharing, crash analysis, and similar product features, improve the service, protect security, and comply with applicable laws and standards.

Information We Collect and Use

To keep Habicat and related services working normally, we may collect basic device and operation information such as device model, operating system version, network access type, IP address, app version, and operation logs. This information is necessary for basic service availability and security.

For login, data sync, VIP purchase, notifications, and content sharing, the app may request or use permissions such as network access, network/media status, media write access, and notification permission. Permission-based features are used only for the stated purpose, and you may disable permissions in system settings.

When you use account login, payment, crash analysis, or related features, the app may integrate third-party SDKs including Alipay SDK, WeChat OpenSDK, and Bugly Android. These SDKs may process device identifiers, network identifiers, account authorization identifiers, crash diagnostics, or other information necessary for login, payment, and stability analysis, according to their own privacy policies.

For Android widgets, Habicat uses Google's androidx.glance.appwidget library. The package replacement receiver is used only to clean local widget-related data when the app is updated or replaced. It is not used to collect clipboard or unrelated personal information.

Habicat does not collect clipboard content. Text copy and cut behavior is provided by the system text input control.

Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure

We do not share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information unless we have your explicit consent, the action is necessary to provide requested services through authorized partners, or it is required by law, regulation, judicial authority, or administrative authority.

Authorized partners may process only the information necessary for the stated service purpose and must not use that information for unrelated purposes.

Security

We use reasonable security measures, including encryption, de-identification where appropriate, access controls, and security management procedures, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, loss, or damage.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal information security incident occurs, we will take response measures and notify affected users or publish announcements as required by applicable law.

Your Rights

You may manage permissions in system settings, withdraw authorization, access the privacy policy in the app, and contact us to request account deletion or personal information handling. Some services may stop working if required permissions or authorizations are withdrawn.

To delete your account, use "Settings" - "Account Management" - "Delete Account" in the app while logged in, or contact us by email. After identity verification, we will process the request within fifteen working days unless laws or regulatory requirements require otherwise.

Minors

If you are under 18, please read and agree to this policy with your parent or guardian before using Habicat. If we discover that we collected a minor's personal information without verifiable guardian consent where required, we will delete the relevant information as soon as possible.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

If web services use cookies or similar technologies, you may accept or reject cookies through browser settings. Refusing cookies may affect login or related web features.

Scope, Updates, and Contact

This policy applies to Habicat software and related services. Third-party websites or services linked from Habicat are governed by their own privacy policies.

We may update this policy when services change. For major changes, we will provide appropriate notice before the updated policy takes effect.
